Homework

Developing individual study skills outside lesson time is a very important part of the learning process. All our courses make demands on students' good organisational skills and students are expected to manage their time so that homework is completed on time and to a high standard. Students will therefore require a quiet study place in the home environment.

To support independent study skills, all students are issued with a Planner in which they record the homework set and the due date. Parents are asked to check homework regularly and to sign the planner each week. A Homework Club, where learning support is available, is held in the Library/Independent Learning Centre every day after school until 4.15 pm.
